Coach Mike Turner is the head coach for the Walker Valley Mustangs Baseball Team with Bo Borders as the assistant coach.  Coach Turner was the head coach for Charleston he came to Walker Valley because they closed Charleston down. This is his 27th year as a head coach.  His favorite memory so far about this past season has been playing well in Florida and also competing for the district regular season championship.  The requirements for playing on the Walker Valley Baseball is having a good attitude, working hard, and being dedicated and those are also his team philosophy.  While he is not hard at work coaching the mustangs he is teaching his gym classes.
