Course Description: This course will provide students with a basic understanding of the journalistic skills and technology behind video as an information medium and numerous ways in which it is created to achieve its desired effect on an audience.  Upon completion of the course students should be able to demonstrate various skills and techniques as it relates to producing a variety of video formats.  Formats include a school news program, video annual, team sports highlights, character development videos, community documentaries, and promotional advertising commercial.  Block.
