For the first time ever, Walker Valley High has students who have certified in IC3 and Microsoft Office Specialist programs.  In an award ceremony on May 15, students were recognized for this outstanding accomplishment.  As part of the Race to the Top incentive, students at Walker Valley were given the opportunity to meet industry certifications in IC3 and MOS. 

Two classes were tested which included Web Applications and Integrated Input.  In Web Applications, 12 of 14 students passed their IC3 certification and in Integrated Input, 15 of 19 students passed various MOS certification tests.  This certification will be a valuable aid as students move to post secondary schools.  We congratulate all winners.  The certification program at Walker Valley will continue into next year.
