FBLA receives donation from BECU

The Walker Valley Business Department is excited to announce that a new partnership has been formed with The Bowater Employees Credit Union.  On January 26, Kim Gunter, Vice President of Marketing at the BECU, presented members of Future Business Leaders of America with a check to help send students to local competition.  In addition, the credit union has donated other supplies for classroom use.  In the months to come the BECU hopes to become very active with Business classes, sending personnel to speak to classes on managing personal finances in preparing for the future.  Other staff of the credit union will speak to classes about business job skills and abilities required in today's job market.  In return, Walker Valley business students are offering their services in designing business documents, flyers, or just volunteering to help where needed.  Walker Valley High would like to thank the BECU for interest in the school and the support they are showing.
